We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Officer to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s daily operations, coordinating field teams to achieve targets, and resolving all IT-related challenges and feedback from the field. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate and lead field teams to achieve set targets and deliver exceptional service.
- Resolve IT-related challenges and provide technical support to field teams.
- Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Handle feedback from field teams and implement solutions to enhance operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall performance.
- Prepare and present operational reports to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems,
- Operations Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in operations management software and IT systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in operations management, logistics, or IT management.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
- Knowledge of local routes and logistics.
